Scope of Work

  • Any changes to the scope must be agreed in writing via a change order, which may affect price and timelines.

  • We will provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment unless otherwise agreed.

Client Responsibilities

  • Provide access to the site, including water, electricity, and storage facilities free of charge.

  • Remove personal property from work areas before commencement. You are liable for any delays or damages caused by failure to do so.

  • Obtain any necessary permissions or approvals for the works.

  • Ensure the site is safe and free from hazards not under our control.

Timelines and Delays

  • We will commence and complete works within agreed timelines, but time is not of the essence unless specified.

  • Delays due to weather, unforeseen site conditions, or your actions may extend timelines, with any additional costs borne by you.

  • If delays are our fault, we will take reasonable steps to mitigate them.

Payment Terms

  • Payments are due as per the contract schedule, typically in stages (e.g., deposit, progress payments, final balance).

  • All prices exclude VAT unless stated. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

  • Late payments incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, plus recovery costs.

  • Title to materials remains with us until full payment is received.

Warranties and Guarantees

  • We warrant that services will be performed with reasonable skill and care, using materials fit for purpose.

  • Work is guaranteed for 12 months from completion against defects in workmanship, subject to fair wear and tear.

  • Any defects must be notified in writing within the guarantee period. We will remedy at our expense, but this does not cover misuse or unauthorized alterations.

  • These warranties are in addition to your statutory rights under UK law.

Health and Safety

  • We comply with health and safety regulations, including providing competent supervision and risk assessments.

Termination

Dispute Resolution

General

  • These Terms constitute the entire agreement and supersede prior communications.

  • If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains enforceable.
